A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Most sites use them for analytics, advertising or session state. This one does not need them.

What this site sets

No cookies. This website does not set cookies, does not use local storage or session storage to identify you, and does not fingerprint your device.

There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Under most privacy regimes, consent is required for non-essential cookies — we have chosen not to use any, which removes the requirement rather than working around it.

What we deliberately do not use

  • No analytics — no Google Analytics or equivalent script
  • No advertising or remarketing tags
  • No social media tracking pixels
  • No third-party fonts loaded at runtime — our one webfont is served from this domain
  • No externally hosted icon or script CDN — icons are inlined in the page
  • No embedded video, map or chat widget, each of which would introduce third-party cookies

This is also why the site is fast. Removing third-party scripts is the single largest performance decision available to most websites.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and response status. These are not cookies and are not used to track you between visits. They exist to operate and secure the service and to diagnose faults. See our privacy policy for how long they are kept.

When you leave this site

If you follow a link to an external site — a vendor's website, or one of our social profiles — that site's own cookie practices apply from the moment you arrive. We have no control over them.

If this changes

If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and implement a proper consent mechanism before setting it — not after. We will not add a banner that assumes consent from continued browsing.

Managing cookies generally

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its privacy settings. Because this site sets none, blocking cookies will not affect how it works for you.
