Built by SN Corporates
Launched 2026Scan, organise, search, understand and protect the documents that matter — with intelligent processing on your device and encrypted backup to your own Google Drive.
Jampui is free. Built and maintained in-house by SN Corporates.
Your vault
Illustrative layout of the vault’s structure. Not a screenshot, and deliberately free of sample document data.
The problem
Paperwork does not arrive in a folder. It arrives as a photo, a forward, an attachment and a printout, and it settles wherever it landed.
Before Jampui
Then somebody needs the PAN card, the RC, the insurance policy, a marksheet, a bill or a warranty — and finding the right copy of the right document becomes the actual problem.
With Jampui
One private, intelligent document vault
The paperwork Jampui is built for
The core workflow
Point the camera at a document. Everything after that is Jampui's job, and all of it happens on the phone.
The workflow starts with a photograph, and it does not have to be a perfectly square one.
Page edges are detected and the page straightened, so a photo taken at an angle becomes a cleaner document scan.
OCR extracts the text locally on the device, which is what makes the contents of the document searchable later.
Supported document types are identified — Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, insurance policy, invoice or bill, marksheet, degree.
Names, document numbers, dates, policy numbers and other relevant details are picked out. QR codes and barcodes are read where applicable.
Recognised documents go into the appropriate category, so the filing does not fall back on you every time.
Relevant expiry dates found in the document are used to create reminders, so a renewal is not discovered late.
On your device
Cleaning the scan, reading the text, recognising the document type and pulling out the details are all designed to happen on the phone. Nothing in this sequence requires the document to be uploaded first.
Organisation
Twenty categories out of the box, covering far more than ID cards — and your own smart folders on top of them.
Identity & records
Money
Assets & cover
Life & work
Personal
Your own
Create your own smart folders and categories where the twenty above do not match how you think about your own paperwork.
The twenty category names are Jampui's. The headings grouping them are ours, to keep this readable on one screen.
Search
Jampui searches inside your documents. The text OCR captured on the device is indexed, so a search can match something written in a document rather than only the name it was saved under.
Illustrative result shape. Document types only — no sample document numbers are shown here or anywhere else on this page.
Matched against
The difference
A file store matches the filename you typed when you saved it.
Jampui matches the words that are actually printed on the page.
Expiry & warranty
Expiry and warranty information is the part of a document people forget, because it lives inside the document rather than in a calendar.
Dates Jampui watches
Everything with a date attached also appears on a central Alerts screen, so reminders are in one list rather than scattered across categories.
A worked example
You save the bill for something you have just bought.
Jampui associates the relevant warranty information with it.
The warranty period is remembered for you instead of being remembered by you.
The reminder is created from the date Jampui found in the document, so the calendar entry is not one more thing for you to remember to make.
Secrets vault
Cards, bank account information, passwords and other private records are held in a Secrets vault that is protected separately from the rest of the app.
Secrets
LockedCards

Bank account information

Passwords
Hidden until you open it
Other private records
Hidden until you open it
Illustrative. The bars represent hidden values — no sample card numbers, account numbers or passwords appear on this site.
Secrets can be placed behind biometric authentication, so opening the app is not the same as opening the vault.
Sensitive values are not exposed in list and overview screens. A stored card number is shown when you deliberately open that entry, not while you are scrolling past it.
Passwords can be imported from a CSV file, so moving in does not mean retyping everything.
Create your own categories inside the vault, and attach photos to an entry where the record is more than text.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are easy to start and easy to forget. Jampui gives them one place to live, with a reminder before the renewal rather than a surprise after it.
Before it renews
A reminder before the renewal date, on the Alerts screen with everything else.
What it does not do
Jampui keeps track of subscriptions and reminds you about them. It does not cancel them for you — that stays with you and the provider.
On-device intelligence
Jampui supports a downloadable on-device AI model that summarises longer documents. A long policy or a multi-page PDF becomes a short summary of what it actually says.
A long document
A short summary
The parts you need in order to understand it
Illustrative. The bars stand for lines of text, not for a real document.
A document does not need to be sent to a remote AI service just to be summarised. The model is downloaded to the phone and the work happens there.
How it runs
Translation
Document text can be translated across 61 languages. Once the language resources are downloaded, translation runs on the device — which also means it keeps working where the connection does not.
Translation of document text across 61 languages, running on the device once that language has been downloaded.
Downloaded languages work offline
A government notice written in Hindi, read in the language you are comfortable with.
A family document in Bengali, understood without asking someone to read it out.
Downloaded language support is what enables offline use. Until a language has been downloaded, that language needs the download first.
Where the limits are
Translation helps you understand a document. It is not a guarantee that every layout will be read perfectly or that every translation will be exact, and it does not replace an official or certified translation where one is required.
Backup
Jampui backs up your data to your own Google Drive, and it is encrypted before it leaves the phone.
Your vault on your phone.
The backup is encrypted before it goes anywhere.
Stored in the app’s designated Drive storage area, on your own Drive quota.
What that means in practice
Set by you, and required to restore.
Issued once, for the case where the PIN or password is lost.
Backup is designed to synchronise changes shortly after they are made, rather than only on a schedule you have to remember.
If you lose the backup PIN or password and the Recovery Code, an encrypted backup may not be recoverable. That is the trade-off of encrypting on your device before anything is uploaded: there is no side door for us to open on your behalf. Keep the Recovery Code somewhere you will still have it in a year.
Across your devices
Jampui is designed to keep supported data consistent across your own devices.
Phone and tablet, holding the same vault.
30 days
to change your mind
Deleted content stays recoverable for 30 days, including across synchronised devices.
Synchronisation should not turn one mistaken tap into an unrecoverable mistake on every device at once. The Trash window is the gap between deleting something and losing it.
Security & privacy
Each item below is a capability the product has. There are no compliance badges on this page, and no claim that anything is unbreakable — that is not a statement anyone can honestly make.
Your data is held encrypted on the device rather than as plain files.
Fingerprint or biometric authentication can be required to open the app, and separately to open Secrets.
Jampui can detect sensitive data and warn you about it, rather than leaving you to notice.
The backup is encrypted on the device before it is uploaded to your Google Drive.
A separate secret, set by you, that a restore cannot proceed without.
Issued once as the fallback for a lost backup PIN or password.
A restore rejects a backup belonging to a different account. The ownership check is enforced server-side, so modifying the client application does not trivially bypass it.
The intelligence lives on your phone
The features that make Jampui more than a folder are designed to run locally. That is the privacy model, stated as architecture rather than as a promise.
Processing
Backup
How SN Corporates handles personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
Also in Jampui
Smaller capabilities, deliberately given less room than the features above.
Write a note, record a voice memo against it, and attach files where the note alone is not enough.
Keep the links that belong with your records in the same place as the records.
Select several items in a folder and export or share them together.
If the app closes part-way through a scan, the draft is recovered rather than lost.
Every expiry and reminder in one list, instead of one per category.
A way to pass Jampui on to someone who needs it.
Why Jampui
The difference is the combination: it understands the document, it watches the dates, it processes locally, it works offline, and it is free.
Supported documents are recognised, categorised and indexed, and the details that matter are extracted from them. A folder of photographs does none of that.
Expiry and warranty information becomes a reminder instead of staying buried inside a file nobody opens until it is too late.
The important processing happens on your device, and the backup is encrypted before it reaches your own Google Drive.
Jampui is offered free to users. That is the whole pricing story, which is why this site has no pricing page for it.
OCR, local AI summaries and downloaded translation are on-device capabilities, so a weak connection does not switch the intelligence off.
A conceptual comparison with general-purpose file storage. No named product is being described here, and no claim is made about what any specific alternative can or cannot do.
| Dimension | A folder of files | Jampui |
|---|---|---|
| Filing | A folder of files You name the file and choose the folder, every time. | Jampui Supported documents are recognised and placed in a category for you. |
| Finding | A folder of files You need to remember the filename or where you put it. | Jampui Search runs over the text OCR read inside the document. |
| Understanding | A folder of files A document stays opaque until you read all of it. | Jampui A long document can be summarised by a model running on the phone. |
| Dates | A folder of files A folder does not know that a policy expires next month. | Jampui Expiry and warranty dates become reminders on an Alerts screen. |
| Language | A folder of files Text stays in the language it was written in. | Jampui Document text can be translated across 61 languages. |
| Privacy | A folder of files Files are held in whatever form they were uploaded in. | Jampui Data is encrypted on the device, and the backup is encrypted before it reaches your Drive. |
| Mistakes | A folder of files A deletion that syncs is a deletion everywhere. | Jampui Deleted items stay recoverable for 30 days across synchronised devices. |
How Jampui came about
Jampui is an in-house SN Corporates product. No month or day is published for any of these steps, so none is stated.
2025
The idea for Jampui was conceived: create a private, intelligent place for managing the paperwork and important information people deal with in everyday Indian life.
2025–2026
The concept moved into development. The focus was a privacy-first, offline-capable document vault able to scan, understand, organise, search, protect, back up and synchronise important documents.
2026
Jampui launched with its core document intelligence, privacy, backup, synchronisation, expiry management, local AI, translation, search, vault and organisational capabilities.
The same three steps appear on the company timeline, alongside the rest of SN Corporates’ history since 2017.
Questions
Yes. Jampui is free to use. Everything described on the product page — scanning, on-device OCR, organisation, search, expiry and warranty reminders, the Secrets vault, subscriptions, on-device summaries, translation, encrypted backup, sync and the 30-day Trash — is part of the product as it is offered today.
Encrypted on your phone. If you turn on backup, an encrypted copy is uploaded to your own Google Drive — specifically to the application’s designated Drive app storage area, using your own Drive storage quota. Jampui does not require your document library to be held as readable documents on SN Corporates’ servers.
No. OCR, the AI summaries and translation are designed to run on the device. The summarisation model and the translation languages are downloaded to the phone, and the processing happens there.
An encrypted backup may not be recoverable. The backup is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, which means there is no side door for us to open on your behalf. Keep the one-time Recovery Code somewhere you will still have access to it later.
Yes. Jampui is designed to keep supported data synchronised across your own devices — add a document on one and it becomes available on the other, and edits and deletions carry across as well.
Deleted content stays recoverable in Trash for 30 days, including across synchronised devices. Synchronising a deletion should not make one mistaken tap permanent everywhere at once.
Sixty-one. Translation can run on the device once the language resources for that language have been downloaded, which is also what makes offline use possible. It is there to help you understand a document, and it does not replace an official or certified translation where one is required.
No. Jampui keeps subscription details in one place — amount, billing cycle and next billing date — and reminds you before a renewal. Cancelling stays between you and the provider.
