Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated

This policy explains how SN Corporates handles personal data collected through this website and the forms on it. It applies to visitors to this site, people who make an enquiry, and candidates who apply for a role.

Our own products have their own privacy notices, published in or alongside the product itself. Jampui holds your data encrypted on your own device, and any backup is encrypted on the device before it is uploaded to your own Google Drive — so the data described in this website policy is not the same data Jampui holds. Where a product notice and this policy differ, the product notice governs that product.

Who is responsible for your data

SN Corporates is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any question, request or complaint about how we handle your data, write to privacy@sncorporates.com.

We aim to acknowledge data requests within one business day and to resolve them within 30 days. If we cannot, we will tell you why and when we expect to.

What we collect, and when

When you browse this website

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use a third-party analytics script, and there is no cross-site tracking on this domain.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and response status — which are used to operate and secure the service and to diagnose faults. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.

When you send an enquiry

We collect the information you enter into the contact form:

  • Your name and organisation
  • Your work email address and, if you provide it, your phone number
  • The enquiry category and organisation size you select
  • The message you write

We use this to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list, and we do not run an automated sales sequence.

When you apply for a role

We collect the information you enter into the application form:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and current location
  • Your experience level, availability and the role you applied for
  • Any LinkedIn, portfolio or repository link you provide
  • Your CV or résumé, if you choose to provide one, and any cover message you write

We use this to assess your application, to contact you about it, and — where we think it genuinely fits — to consider you for other roles. We do not share applications outside SN Corporates.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in an application. We do not need it, and we do not ask for it.

Why we are allowed to use it

  • Your consent — you tick a box before submitting either form, and the box is never pre-ticked. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Performance of a contract, or steps towards one — where you are enquiring about work we might do for you, or applying for employment.
  • Our legitimate interests — operating and securing this website, and keeping records of business correspondence.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records, for example for tax or employment purposes.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries — up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted, unless the enquiry became a client relationship with its own retention terms.
  • Unsuccessful applications — up to 12 months, so we can consider you for a future role. Ask us and we will delete it sooner.
  • Successful applications — retained as part of the employment record, under the retention period applicable to employee records.
  • Server logs — retained for a short operational period by our hosting provider and then rotated out.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks. It is shared only with:

  • Our hosting provider, which serves this website and holds the server logs described above.
  • Our email provider, which carries the correspondence resulting from your enquiry or application.
  • Our form-processing provider, which receives form submissions and passes them to us.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something.

Each provider is engaged under terms that restrict them to processing data on our instructions. We will name the current providers on request.

How we protect it

  • All traffic to this website is served over TLS.
  • Stored personal data is encrypted at rest.
  • Access is limited to the people who need it for the purpose it was collected for, and that access is logged.
  • Accounts holding personal data require multi-factor authentication.
  • We keep our dependencies patched and review access when someone changes role or leaves.

No system is immune. If a breach affects your personal data and creates a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required, and we will tell you what happened rather than minimising it.

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
  • Restrict or object to a particular use of it
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave
  • Receive it in a portable format, where that applies

Write to privacy@sncorporates.com. We will not charge you for a reasonable request, and we will not ask why you are making it. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. Applications are read by a person; enquiries are answered by a person. Where we use AI in delivering services to clients, consequential output is reviewed by a person before it takes effect.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a vendor, social network or other external site, that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave ours. We have no control over what they collect.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy substantively we will update the date at the top and, where the change materially affects you, tell you directly. Older versions are available on request.
